Issues in Global Security

THE DISCUSSION BOARD QUESTION
Over the past two Module’s we have discussed Global and Regional Intergovernmental Organizations. For this week’s discussion question go to the “Web Link for Discussion Question” found in the Content Area for Section X, review the web links and select two organizations that you feel play an important role in international cooperation around what could be considered a homeland security issues. (For example, FRONTEX is an organization focused on border security) Once you have selected these organizations describe the organizations and explain how the address homeland security issues. For your first response post, go to another student’s post and argue why one of the organizations you picked was more significant than the one they picked. For your second response post, respond to the criticism and defend your initial selection. (I love a good argument but keep it respectful) You many not select any of the organizations covered in detail over the past two Modules’ lectures. (The UN and components that were covered, the EU, Frontex, or the Shanghai Cooperation Organization) I am looking for something new here. There are plenty to choose from.
