Written Journal Abstract – An abstract of a journal article will be written and orally presented by each student. Students will choose an experimental research article, less than ten years old, which relates to a therapy or assessment procedure for Early Intervention aka children before age of 3.
The journal reference (written in APA 7th edition style) must be included .
The written abstract should include the following information:
-Purpose of article/rationale
-Participants and brief demographic information
-Methods/procedures (what was conducted)
-Results (basic interpretation)
-Summary/discussion
-Relevance to speech-language pathologists
-Reference in APA 7th edition style
– Be sure to include a title page in APA format
