Demonstrate understanding of the impact of intersections of sociocultural identities, socio-historical factors, power, oppression, privilege, discrimination, biases, and marginalization in Social Work and social justice.
Integrate awareness of the NASW’s Social Works’ Code of Ethics [Value and Ethical Principle], in conjunction with your personal experiences and professional observations.
Examine knowledge regarding diversity of human realities and social systems that impacts them, in order to apply an anti-oppression with culturally competent, socially justice knowledge and practices when interfacing with African Americans.
