Leadership – an oral literature review of a limited number of selected readings

This is an oral literature review of a limited number of selected readings. It is an exercise in practicing a typical leadership skill before an audience of peers while refining a leadership repertoire. YOu are required to read, critique, and evaluate the applicability and relevance of the readings listed. These do not book review assignments in which are merely expected to describe the content of each book/article. Instead, you should outline the main concepts and themes raised, then critique the readings (i.e. identifying both their strengths and weaknesses), evaluate their place in leadership thinking and/0r, more appropriate, the contribution they might make to leadership thinking, and practices.
Prepare powerpoint-type slides and/or other visual aids to accompany your presentation. This is designed to demonstrate the centrality of identity-based and communication-centered approaches to contemporary leadership
