What are some things I should know about you
that I would not have learned during the hiring process?
•
What are you looking for from me in the next
couple weeks?
•
What is the definition of a “great day at work”
for you?
•
How do you like to be recognized? Why is this important to you?
•
What strengths have you or others identified in
the past that we should be sure to leverage?
1. Having
the right attitude-with a developmental mindset. In my opinion we are paid to
not only perform the role description but the be in a good mood doing so, preferably
if engaging in training others, having the “I am here to help you with a smile”
attitude, potentially show others how good they will feel in the next years in
the company.

Tell me about the best manager you’ve ever had
and what made him/her so good?
The main difference was
that…. he cared. He genuinely cared for the most valuable resource in the
company: people. He did not only know ins and outs of the several positions at
work, but he wanted the people performing these roles prepared and set up for
success. I miss that. Now that I have experienced both sides, I do not want to
be the leader that is just there holding a title and when people reach out they
have no idea or they don’t seem to care whether or not you are successful at
what you do.
