Using the information gained regarding your leadership style(s), and compose an essay that addresses the following topics:

Work Environment
For each leadership style there are work environments that are ideal. Knowing this information will allow you to select work environments where your style would be an asset. In your job search, knowing your leadership style will help you select the right position and organization. Based on your leadership style, what would be the ideal healthcare working environment for you and why?
Communication
Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of your leadership style will help you communicate better with your staff. This is even more effective when you share your leadership style with your staff. When both sides understand, they have a greater understanding of your perspective and how to work effectively with you. This knowledge also points out which personalities may not receive your style well. What personalities do you think would not respond to your leadership style? How will you use your leadership style to communicate in the workplace?
Leadership Skills
Building upon the weaknesses and strengths of your leadership style will allow you to become more effective and balanced at leading others. Having this knowledge gives you direction to develop goals and a training plan to become a better leader. How will you build upon and enhance your leadership skills in your chosen profession?
Workplace Challenges
Your leadership style will address a problem differently than others. When challenges arise you can contribute best to the solution by understanding your leadership style. It may mean you’re the best to get involved with the issue or use another strategy for solving the situation. What healthcare challenges do you think your leadership style will prepare you to face?
