Learning Theories Paper Assignment

Overview
At this point, you have learned about several learning
theories such as behaviorism, social cognitive theory, information processing
theory, and constructivism. You created a presentation based on the theory that
you most identify with as a learner. Using that same theory, you will delve
deeper into the history of that theory and how you could apply it in a
classroom full of students.

Your
paper must adhere to current APA format.
·
Include
a minimum of 5 pages, NOT including title and reference page (7 pages total).
·
Include
a minimum of 5 professional references
o
References
must be published within the last 5 years.
o
You
may use scripture and our course text as 2 of the 5 references.
o
Avoid
using websites as references. Instead, utilize the Jerry Falwell Library to
search for scholarly journals with the latest research.

Your
paper must include the following 5 sections:
o
A
title page in current APA format;
o
A
summary of the major components and theorists associated with the theory;
o
At
least three examples of how lessons and
activities in the classroom would be differentiated to incorporate this theory;
o
A
discussion of how this learning theory will impact classroom management and
student learning; and
o
A
discussion of why you most closely identify with this particular theory.
