Literature-Poem

This week we are looking at the topic that most people think of when contemplating poetry: love. However, the selections this week are not all “roses are red, violets are blue.” Indeed, the selections are meant to challenge your understanding of what love really is. Accordingly, in this week’s paragraph, I am asking you to craft a definition or description of love and reference at least two of this week’s three poems in your definition. Make sure that you are specific in your references to the poems (you can quote a line or paraphrase a stanza, but please try not to summarize or generalize the poem’s content).

I went through the Literature book and chose the two poems.
Howard Moss; Shall I compare Thee to a Summer’s Day.
Elizabeth Barrett Browning; How Do I Love Thee? Let Me Count the Ways.
