The thesis of this paper is arguing “Why the Louisiana Purchase is the most essential event in American history”
The reasons should include expand its territory, introduce new economic opportunities, and remove foreign powers.
If a you find a better alternative for one of those reasons feel free to switch it out as long as it has enough evidence.
Also the sources given in the attatched “Topic Intro” need to be used in the paper as support. You are more than welcome to include more sources.
Make sure your paper is the proper length, relatively free of spelling and grammatical errors, properly states and supports your thesis, and has the proper citations of sources (Chicago Format). Do not just summarize your sources, but use them strategically and constructively to show that your argument makes sense. Also, avoid using first person terms in your paper (I, me, you, us, etc.)
