16.7 Short Presentation: The News (Complete the assignment as is: Pick a “hot” business topic from the news and craft a presentation around it that incorporates 1) at least three sources, 2) some effective communication strategies you’ve learned in this course, and 3) an explanation of how the situation (from the news) could have been handled differently. Record your presentation using a platform like PowerPoint (you can record video on the slides) or Zoom with a screen share for your slides; you’ll need visuals, of course. Do not shy away from recording your face since you’ll need to have a recorded video of you presenting to complete the 16.10. Once you’ve recorded your video, you can upload it to Google Drive or YouTube and include a link in your submission document along with a list of the sources you used (unless you include a “source page” on your video).
16.10 Reconfiguring the Johari Window (Complete this assignment by using the video you record for 16.7. Under as your instructor directs, complete “a” only – “Write a 500-word email that discusses your strengths and weaknesses as a presenter. Address how you could improve your weaknesses”.
