For the semester, you are required to prepare a short informational paper. The paper must be double-spaced and composed using a Times-Roman 12-point font. The text of the paper must be at least five (5) pages in length. The cover page and bibliography do not count as part of the 5 pages. Make sure that you number the pages. The cover page should consist of the title of your paper, your name, the course name and section number, and the date of submittal. The bibliography and related citations should be formatted according to Chicago Style formatting guidelines. The research paper will analyze the market structure and competitiveness of an industry or business entity. The paper will encompass the following required components:
Cover Page/Title Page: Elements of this page include (but not limited to) title/subject of paper, your name, class that you are submitting this paper for, and date (10 points);
An introduction that explains why you chose a particular industry or business entity for analysis (10 points);
A discussion of the analytical method(s) used and data sources/information used in the analysis of the industry or business entity’s market structure and competitiveness (40 points);
Analysis and results (40 points);
Summary and concluding remarks (10 points); and,
Bibliography: This works cited should be numbered. (10 points)
