Instructions:
Step 1: Using Concordes Online Library or other scholarly websites, choose and research a controversial issue within the healthcare field. Issues to consider are abortion, cloning, use of fertility medications, socialized healthcare, unrecognized DNR, euthanasia, right to die, etc.
Once you have chosen your topic, complete your research and then answer the following questions in a coherent and well-developed essay:
Describe why you chose the topic you researched. Is this a topic you are conflicted on yourself?
Describe how the issue you researched could become an issue in a healthcare facility. What possible conflicts could arise?
Provide a brief summary of the supporting and opposing arguments for this issue.
Using what youve learned about value development and world views in this chapter, why do you think you have developed your own supporting, opposing, or undecided opinion of this issue?
