Medical Humanities and Bioethics are disciplines that have been used to create solutions in medicine. Select one of the following issues and decide how you would incorporate Medical Humanities and Bioethics as tools for change.

Opioid Epidemic

Mental Health
Medical Marijuana

Research Papers are due by Saturday, June 12th by 11:59pm. You will submit your research paper online via Canvas through plagiarism software (i.e. Turnitin). Grades will be primarily based upon the quality of content and how well you demonstrate an ability to examine the issues and texts involved with your topic. If you should choose to argue for a position, you will be expected to show a genuine understanding of the other viewpoint and a thorough consideration of the issues.
Page requirements: Microsoft Word, 8-10 pages (double spaced, New Times Roman, 12 point font), include a work cited or bibliography page with at least 6 academic sources formatted in MLA style. All sources must be listed on a separate work cited or bibliography page and attached to the back of your paper. The work cited or bibliography page does not count toward the 8-10 page requirements. Papers less than 8 complete pages WILL NOT be accepted.
