Career Research:
Make a Choice and Learn (and then make another choice)
Choose a potential career that interests you and conduct research to learn more about it. Your research should include the following: (I chose an interest of pursuing a career in Marketing Management)
Explanation of what a person who works in this career field does
Description of the work environment
Typical interests, values, and personality traits held by individuals in this field
Discussion on how one may enter the field (i.e., required education and experience, including required and optional certifications)
Knowledge, skills, and abilities, including technology skills, that are needed
Job outlook, salary information, and potential for career growth
Professional associations (a minimum of 2) related to this career field and resources/services they have available for students
Reflection on Career Research
What are you excited about? – Honestly you can put whatever you want but I’m just exciting that I get to analyze market trends and help businesses grow. The fact that I can work for companies like Apple, Disney or Loreal Paris that was so cool and surprising to me. Honestly need more information on internship that I can apply to related to this for this summer of 2022.

ELR Planning: How can you use the ELR requirement to help you prepare to enter this career field? Describe 2-3 options you are considering and why you chose those? (See Appendix B: Sample Experiential Learning Activities w/ Value to You and Employer/Grad School).
Format: Include four major sections: Title Page, Abstract, Main Body, and References. Follow all APA 7th Edition Guidelines covered in your APA Workshop. Use double-spacing, 1” margins, and New Times Roman 12-point font. Word Count: 1250-1500.
Research: The paper must include at least five credible and recent sources. Be sure to use in-text citations.
Reference Page: The reference page should follow APA 7th style.
