In this paper it will be stated that Mill’s account for higher vs lower pleasures is correct and then state the other sides point of view then argue agaisnt it.
The main compoents are: An Original argumentation which involves giving an argument that is entirely your thinking, something you have given your own thought into. This is 100% your own thinking without outside thoughts. Another way to do this is by doing research and look at how that philosopher looked at it and write it down but you have to add in your own thinking by solving a problem they have or adding on to it. The next main component is explaining a philosophical view, this is like writing to someone who has never learned about this topic. The last and a crucial main part is considering and responding to objections, this needs to be expanded on, not just a couple sentences but a paragraph or two. You need to show your opposition’s view in the same light you show your own view. In order to respond to it you have to show the flaw in the reasoning in the opposing objection. Weak sounding arguments will not be helpful.
