on miscue analysis. Explain what it is and what the difference is between RMA
and EMMA. Explain the premise behind using miscue analysis to teach reading and
to detect reading difficulties.
Do some basic research on the reading
assessment, Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills (DIBELS).
Explain briefly what this assessment is and what it attempts to measure.

Then write an analysis of DIBELS as seen
through the miscue analysis research. Does the miscue analysis research support
the DIBELS assessment process? Yes, or no? Explain why or why not.
What have we learned about how children
