Module 10: Final Project
Task: Answer the question, “What will science look like in your future classroom?”
Format: Please create a video in which you screenshare a presentation you have created, and explain on camera the main points of this presentation. Your presentation should not be a script you read from – instead, list main ideas and/or include visuals that you will then elaborate on as you speak. Please turn in both the video and the presentation that you present from during the video.
Possible technologies to use include Zoom or NLU’s Panopto.
Please note – Final projects demonstrate your FINAL (summative) learning. For this reason, they cannot be redone, so make a product you are proud of and are sure demonstrates all of the knowledge you have gained this term.
Topics that may be addressed through this project:
Standards and curriculum planning
Lesson design/instruction
Classroom environment
Assessment
Safety
Student misconceptions
Incorporating STEM
Integrating Reading/Writing/Other subjects
Content should include a demonstration of your learning based on course readings, discussions, and your field work. Cite sources and include specific examples. Avoid loading up on education buzzwords without anything concrete to demonstrate the concepts.
