One Rep Max Estimations- Did you ever wonder how strong you are? If you are guy, the answer is probably YES- and a female- probably NOT. Well here is your chance. Finding out how strong you are in a given lift requires a maximal effort and the right circumstances and a high risk of injury. Well you can estimate how strong you are (one repetition maximum- one rep max-1RM) by the number of repetitions you do at a lower weight. It is kind of like finding out what you can run a 5 Km (3.1 mi) race in from a mile time or vice versa.
You will need to do at three different lifts (use three different estimation formulas) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One-repetition_maximum. I would encourage you not to use one with exponents- they get tricky in a hurry.
You need to calculate 100%, 86%, and 75% max for each formula. Just take the 100% weight and multiple by .86 and .75 or look it up.
