Summary:
Students will have to write a report summarizing the content of the assigned organization. Reports are graded on properly answering the questions on your organization that follow, organizing the report in a professional way, and ensuring that the report flows. These reports should be interesting to read and not come across as thrown together at the last minute. The reports are 2-3 pages double-spaced, not counting title page and references. The content of the research presentation should be as follows:
An in-depth managerial analysis of the pre-selected publicly traded organization (e.g., Google) is required. Issues to address are:
Introduction (gives an Overview of the report)
What are the mission, values, and strategies of the organization?
What products and/or services does it sell?
Try to find some interesting facts about the company to discuss.
Define and assess the organizations strategy? [Extract what you believe their strategy is? You should use Porters strategy types (i.e., Cost Leadership, Differentiation, a focused form of the previous two]
Identify its customers and/or constituents; and two primary competitors of the organization.
What is the primary industry of this company (Use details found on Yahoo Finance)?
Name the industry and explain what the basis is for the industry.
You must list the Stock Price, Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio, and Market Capitalization for the chosen company and at least two primary competitors. There must also be a clear explanation of what these statistics mean in relation to the companys competitors.

Create a Conclusion Summarizing What was Covered
