For this assignment you will research and answer the following questions on Strokes or Cerebral Vascular Accidents (CVA).Your textbooks should be used as one resource.
Include the following information in your assignment. Use headings for this part of the assignment.
1. Explain in your own words the pathophysiology of strokes. Include information on the different kinds of strokes.
2. Identify and describe the signs and symptoms. Discuss 3 lasting affects that may occur because of a stroke.
3. Identify and describe how strokes are diagnosed and the usual treatments.
4. Explain and describe what rehabilitation is and how someone with a stroke would benefit.
This assignment must be typed, double spaced, and include acover page. You must use headings with clearly written paragraphs and complete sentences. Point form will not be accepted. Marks will be deducted for incorrect spelling, grammar, sentence structure, and format.
You must acknowledge all of your sources (books, articles, and internet) as discussed in class. These sources must be identified in the body of your paper and in a reference list on a separate sheet. One source must be the textbook for this class.
