Pennies should bot be preserved.

It is an argumentative essay that has to have a counterclaim. So, that means 5 paragraphs in all. One for the intro, body paragraph 1, body paragraph 2, counterclaim paragraph, and conclusion. The main 2 points in this essay are that “Pennies should not be preserved because they cost more than they are worth and they are a waste of time. My evidence used to back up claim 1 (they cost more than they are worth) is, “He says each of us on average wastes 2.4 hours per year with the grubby little disks.”(Fund paragraph 6) and “A penny currently costs the United States government 2.4 cents to mint.” (Carroll paragraph 1). My evidence that is used to back up claim 2 (they are a waste of time) is, “The buying power of the penny has dropped quite a bit over the years due to inflation.” (Shelton paragraph 6) and “…the unit is too small to be useful.” (Fund paragraph 4). For the counter claim paragraph, the evidence used for the counterclaim will be “… instead of paying $29.96 for something, you may have to pay $30.”(Washington Middle School Chronicle paragraph 3) and the evidence used for the rebuttal will be “… something currently worth 99 cents may well drop to 95 cents instead of rising to a dollar to avoid the higher price threshold and attract more costumers.” (Carroll paragraph 3).
