Personal Statement for Graduate School

Graduate school request: A Personal Statement.
A personal statement about your educational or career objectives should be uploaded. The personal statement is your way of introducing yourself to the Admissions Committee. It should address an individuals personal history, motivations, and intellectual development. You should special interests and abilities, career plans, and life goals it should also be of the type of quality
That expresses why you want to pursue a graduate degree. Your statement is one of several credentials that will determine your eligibility for admission to a graduate degree program at The City University of New York. Your statement should be no longer than one page in length.

Basic information about me:
I am a recent graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice, with a BSc in Economics
I am a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon international honor society in economics
I have made the Dean’s list at John Jay College of criminal justice every semester since I was at John Jay.
I also made the Deans list at Laguardia Community college, I am a member of the Phi Theta Kappa academic honor society.
I migrated to the United States without a college degree and work and go to school part-time I am the first in my family to graduate from college, this was the proudest day in my life.
I have a special interest in tutoring and enjoy tutoring I discover this special interest while attending college. Reading is another of my passion I love to read.
My life goal is to become an Economist and would love to be a lecturer in economics and this is why I am applying to graduate school.
