Use the link below to find an online piano recital with a Classical format; Click on an artist head shot, listen to the performer profile, and then view their musical program. Determine composers and titles of pieces performed on the program, and take notes as you listen. Program length must be a total of 45 to 60 minutes.
Write a 3-page critical arts paper describing the sound of each piece on the program, using both descriptive language and musical term we have used in class. Include a website link. Start with an opening paragraph that sets up the concert experience, noting any expectations you had for the program, background of the performer, website display, etc. Dedicate one paragraph to each work on the program.
Conclude the paper by commenting on which piece you liked best and why; and which piece you liked least and why. Submit your paper through Brightspace.
