Plan for Change (Part Two)
Instructions for assignment:
This is the second of a two-part assignment. Please note: You are required to submit a PowerPoint presentation that should be recorded in BlueCast. Instructions for using BlueCast to record your presentation can be found in the Getting Started module and are also linked below. For this assignment, assume you have been recently tasked with the leadership responsibility for the change initiative you addressed in Assignment #3. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the change initiative? What aspects of the change initiative would you keep in place? What corrective steps would you implement and why? Develop the plan for change following these steps (essentially bullet points describing this assignment, but with more detail).
Provide the current status of the change initiative, providing necessary background information and data.
Present a plan using applicable course terms and concepts.
Be clear and specific about practical strategies for leading and managing the change, particularly addressing Appreciative Inquiry.
You may include an interview with a change leader. Cite direct interview quotes as follows: (J. Johnson, personal communication, month date, 2021).
Describe direct and indirect costs by categories, NOT specific dollar figures.
Describe how the change plan/outcomes should be evaluated.
In this assignment, integrate into your analysis as many of the concepts below as are applicable. Most are in addition to the list from Assignment #3. You do not need to define them but use them, as applicable, in the context of your analysis.
