Thrasymachus defines justice as “nothing else but the interest of the stronger.” He thus couples justice and “interest of the stronger.” Does Socrates accept Thrasymachus’s definition of justice? Why? Why not? Or does Socrates propose to decouple justice and the interest of the stronger?
Note: no need to discuss all the definitions of justice discussed before Thrasymachus enters the dialogue, though they are important for setting up the exchange between Socrates and Thrasymachus.
