following benefits.
1. Increased User Satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is critical to
any company. It increases loyalty, brand credibility, awareness, and helps in
acquiring new customers. The addition of this feature will increase customer
satisfaction. Although Gmail’s storage space technology is powerful enough[1],
the research indicates that system response time does affect user satisfaction,
improvements to large file uploads will improve user satisfaction[2].
2. Improve work efficiency, Because files over 25Mb will be
transferred to Google Drive. Gmail is the most popular email platform in the
United States, around 44% of people use Gmail as their email solution[3]. But
the remaining 56% of users still need to consider that they don’t necessarily
have Google Drive, which will increase their workload. If this function is
improved, the work efficiency of users will be greatly improved[4].
3. Increase the number of users. At present, “An estimated 205
billion emails are sent every single day[5], and a more comfortable user
experience will help increase the number of users. At the same time, more users
will effectively increase Gmail’s advertising revenue[6].
In conclusion, the improvement of automatically importing large
files into Google Drive will improve user satisfaction, increase user
productivity, increase the number of users and increase advertising revenue.
