assignment will be to analyze the case study from a criminological perspective. That is, you will analyze the case through a criminological theory to identify potential underlying causal factors. For example, if your case study focused on an incident of racial profiling you would use criminological theory to explain why specific groups are disproportionately disadvantaged by profiling
practices. In addition, your assignment should interpret the impact (if any) of the selected case on law enforcement practices and should also offer recommendations to law enforcement reforms that address relations with that specific group.
