Browse through poems on pages 675-1030.
Choose two poems by different authors that address a social issue of their time. (Do not choose poems that are analyzed in the textbook and do not use poems you have analyzed for the discussion board post).
Review the Steps for Reading Poetry explained on pages 661-662.
Read the sample student essay on pages 672-674.
Discuss how each poem illustrates its issue.
