For my Child Adolescence and Development Senior Seminar course, I must write a draft on a policy that is related the field of child development. For this paper, you will conduct an in-depth analysis of a policy that is relevant to children and/or adolescents. The first portion of the paper will contain an extensive review of the policy and literature conducted to the issues of the Jacob Wetterling Act.
For the draft, you only need to create 5 pages minimum for now. Also, you don’t need to use all the sources, but you must include 10 that I can search up later on as well.

2. What are the current statistics on this issue?
3. Why is there a need for the policy (Jacob Wetterling Act) based on past research?
The last portion of your paper will involve an evaluation of your paper. You will need to discuss any problems with the current policy (linking it with specific research that highlights these problems). In addition, you should discuss specific pros and cons of the Jacob Wetterling Act and describe specific policy suggestions. YOU MUST SPECIFICALLY LINK PREVIOUS RESEARCH TO YOUR POLICY SUGGESTIONS AND DESCRIBE WHY YOUR SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE IMPROVEMENTS OVER THE CURRENT POLICY.
