PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!
You must answer both questions. The exam is worth 60 points (each question is worth 30 points). You should turn your answer in through Canvas. Your answer must use times new roman 12 point font and be double spaced, and include your name and student ID. Your work must be your own. You must refer to the relevant reading assignments and lectures in each of your answers. You should not refer to any material that was not assigned in the course. These are thought pieces designed to show you understand and can synthesize the material. You should cite the material from the course within your answer like this: (Smith 2020) for readings and (module 2, lecture 1) for lectures. You need not include a reference page so long as the citations are clear which readings and lectures you are citing. The answer to each question should be between 4 and 6 pages long per question. You should turn your final into Canvas no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday March 17th. NO LATE EXAMS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Answer these two questions to answer:
Explain and discuss two emerging issues in human rights.

Compare two separate examples of war crimes trials to explain how justice might be achieved through this process. One example should demonstrate a successful effort at war crimes trials and one example should demonstrate an unsuccessful effort. Be specific in what worked or failed in your examples.
