There will also be a ten-page analysis of one of the subjects we cover during this course. This paper will be a research paper, which covers an aspect of African American, African or Latin American culture. Students are required to use at least four sources when writing this paper. Students should place this paper into their e-portfolio as proof that they have fulfilled their cross-cultural awareness requirement. Students who use papers from the Internet will be subject to university discipline for plagiarism. The internet, encyclopedias, class notes, or the class textbooks can not be used as sources when writing formal research papers. The book review will be turned in by Thursday, September 30, 2021. The paper can cover any topic dealing with Africans or African Americans.
