Leaders frequently read popular leadership and management books to “stay up to date” and get ideas for their own organization. It is important for leaders to remain current and model the way by demonstrating lifelong learning.
The purpose of this project is to read a popular management book and synthesize and evaluate its content in light of material from this course and from this leadership program overall.
Instructions
Select a book from the list below and then prepare a report evaluating and synthesizing its content in light of material from this course and from the MAOL program. Your report should be written in a way that is accessible to a wide audience, assuming that the audience may not be familiar with the book you chose or the leadership components from the MAOL program. So, you should provide clear explanations of important ideas from the book and the relevant leadership components from the program.
You may choose from one of the books below, which are listed in order of publication (from most recent to least recent). Note that many of these books are also available in audiobook format.
Attached is the list of the books available. – Please let me know your thoughts.
Attached are sources from prior classes within this program that need to be used to tie in with the book review.
