for Final Planning Meeting

Developing programs and effectively managing the projects that
accompany these programs is a significant part of a student affairs
professional’s role. The understanding of the philosophies of budgeting,
relationship-building, and other activities become practical and are leveraged
to meet student needs within departmental and university goals. To successfully
launch a proposal and to prevent the wasting of resources, planning meetings
with all stakeholders is critical.
For your proposed program or event, create a 10-12 slide digital
presentation to be presented to the student affairs department.
Address the following in your presentation:

The assessed student need
the program or event will address and a rationale for strategically
prioritizing and allocating resources.
·
A full schedule for the
program or event.
·
Human capital/staffing
needs and skills required to accomplish the departmental goals of the program
or event.
·
Overview of the budget for the
program or event, including anticipated income and a summary of expenses.
·
Method of evaluating the
effectiveness of the program or event, including budget, time, and human
capital invested, in light of the greater mission of student affairs.
·
Title slide, reference
slide, and presenter’s notes.
The digital presentation must include graphics that are relevant
to the content, visually appealing, and use space appropriately.
Support your presentation with 3-5 scholarly resources.
While APA format is not required for the body of this assignment,
solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should
be presented using APA documentation guidelines.
This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to
beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for
successful completion.
