Classification Assignment FORMAT
The following file formats are the only formats accepted. If you submit a file in a format not listed below, I cannot open it to grade it.

All work in this class should follow standard MLA format:
Double-space all work by using the double space feature. DO NOT use the enter key to double space. Ever.
Double spacing gives me room to post comments.
Use the default font type and size- That should be Times New Roman 12 or Calibri 11.
Make sure your margins are 1 inch all around- all four sides. This should be set already as default.
Type a heading that includes:
Your full name
Your instructor’s name *(me)
Your class and section (ENGL0810-000)
The date
*Headings belong on the top LEFT side of the page
Name it using your name and assignment as part of the file name, (for example, SmithClassification) then submit your document to the correct assignment submission folder.
TOPIC
write a 150-200 word paragraph CATEGORIZING the topic. Remember, to classify is to gather into types, kinds, or categories according to a single basis of division.
