Find a business problem that interests you. This needs to be a real problem and not a cooked-up one. It doesn’t have to be from a context that you are involved in. The aim for this project is for you to find the underlying reasons behind the problem. In other words, you are asked to study the factors that influence the problem in a positive or negative way.
Using Microsoft Word, answer questions 1–7:
Provide a summary that explains the background and also articulates the problem.
What are your hypotheses? Clearly define your causes and effects and if an effect is the cause of another effect. Discuss why you think these hypotheses can be valid. You are required to have at least three hypotheses.
How do you ensure the internal validity of the study? Address all biases to internal validity.
Discuss your variables in the scope of interest and variables outside the scope of interest. Develop a questionnaire.
Design a research that can examine the hypotheses.
Describe the settings for the data collection. Precisely explain how the data is going to be collected.
Is this a control design or non-control design? What type? Please discuss the rationale for your choice.
Design a questionnaire that can measure your variables.
Describe your sampling strategy.
