Find an example of a project that failed or went wrong in some major way because of missing or mismanaged project management efforts (ex. Big Dig Project in Boston, NASA space shuttle disaster, etc.). Provide a two to three page write up, which includes; a brief description of the project, a detailed discussion of what happened and most importantly a detailed description of how you feel the outcome could have been improved through better project management practices. Please discuss specifically how the PM process could have been altered to have provided an increased probability of a more successful execution. Feel free to discuss specific tools or concepts and make sure to include your references. Grammar and writing style will be considered in the assessment.
