Start your research by visiting PMI.org website and get familiar with the organization, terminologies, and various terms used in the profession. There are many other organizations that developed other frameworks around this subject, however, for this research you will focus on PMI specific disciplines. PMI.org is selling information, materials, and various publications, but you are not required to buy anything for this assignment. For your research, you should seek other sources of information from reading articles, publications, white papers, case studies, etc. PMI discipline is so widely adopted and accepted around the world that there are many information sources that you will be able to find to learn the concepts of the discipline. Your paper should cover the following areas of the discipline: – Describe the overarching concept and framework of Project Management Framework under the Project Management Institute standards. How does PMI categorize the stages of their methodology relating to project management lifecycle? – Describe PMI’s defined areas of skills needed to implement/apply them, and what they are? – Describe the business values and benefits of using such a fram‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌ework when implemented towards projects in the organization – why should a company adopt and implement such a standard when it comes to managing projects? – Describe the challenges of implementing such a standard into an organization and how to overcome them. – Describe the requirements to become a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified by PMI organization.
