prompt on well being

Write a 5 page double-spaced essay following the Minimal Five-Part Argumentative Structure with an introductory section (thesis statement), main argument, objection, reply, concluding section. Each body paragraph will include a topic sentence and evidence, you may use from the reading and elsewhere, supporting your points—follow the quotation sandwich method. You MUST use sources and you must have a Works Cited page.* I encourage you to find source material in the library databases index and schedule a research appointment with Prof. Ames, one of our librarians, and, if you need help with using our library databases, contact Ask a Librarian 24/7.
• an introductory section with a thesis statement (using a method learned in Week 1 module)
• main argument
• objection
• reply
• supporting detail from sources, such as articles from online databases, or reputable online sources (typically with URLs from .com, .edu, or .gov). You must have at least 6 sources total.
• concluding section (using a method learned in Week 1 module)
• a Works Cited page* detailing the works you actually cited (quoted or paraphrased) in your essay. Your Works Cited page does not count as one of your 5 pages. Using Microsoft citation tool for in-text citations and Works Cited page. More explanation here of Works Cited page in MLA format.

Prompt
We have read about the the following positions:
• food and family (one’s identity)
• the power of language and emotions, images, ideas, or truth
• food as fuel and food as a social experience
Choose a position on one of the topics above and analyze/describe it from your perspective, using academically acceptable sources to support your arguments and point-of-view. All of the topics can be viewed from multiple viewpoints, therefore, compare and contrast at least one of these other points of view with your own, and use your sources to weaken (or diminish) the objection and reinforce your own position in your reply.
