Pros and Cons Of Capitalism

The purpose of the research paper for this course is to explain/present “The Pros and Cons of Capitalism”. Each student will write and submit a “research paper” that includes the following topics (each numbered topic below must be included in your paper): THESE, BELOW, ARE YOUR FOUR OBJECTIVES.
1. Describe what Capitalism is, and how it has evolved from the historical concept of “free markets” and the “mixed economy”.
2. Describe how capitalism and racism are intertwined–the history of the impact of capitalism on people of color, in particular, realizing the impact has been negative on all “marginalized humans” including women, LGBTQ’s, and those with special physcial, mental and emotional challenges/abilities.
3. Explain the economic impact of capitalism/racism such as: income and wealth inequality; environmental impact on poor; housing; education; air/water inequality; perpetual segregation; police brutality; health and well-being inequality; and the degradation of the planet in terms of global warming.
4. Finally, describe the extent to which we can use the current BLM global protest to secure meaningful change to rectify/reduce/eliminate the racist impact of capitalism and the racist policies and practices of capitalism and its impact on Black and brown people.
Give a few examples of transnational, global changes within the corporate world that actually promote racial justice, sustainability and save the planet from global warming and climate degradation. Include policy changes that must be enacted by “the Biden administration”.
The purpose of the research paper for this course will be to explain/assess “The Pros and Cons of Capitalism”. Each student will write a “research paper” that includes the following topics (each numbered topic must be included in your paper): YOU MUST HAVE THE MINIMUM REQUIRED PAGES
Seven to Eight Pages Required; double-spaced, not triple; Times New Roman Font; page numbers centered.
Include a formal Cover Page: Title of Paper; Presented by “your name”; Presented to: Dr. Michael Rogers;

Include a Table of Contents
Include an Abstract
Include an Introduction as a side heading.
Body of Paper to follow including a Side Heading for each of the four major topics, objectives to be covered by your research.
A Conclusion and Recommendation side heading with at least 350 words
A center head separate, final page, that includes the “Bibliorgraphy” in APA format!
Proof read for proper grammar, spelling, etc.
