Psychological research; GOALIATH- A theory of goal-directed behavior

Instructions: You are asked to write a response to a theoretical paper, by Hommel, B. (in press), “GOALIATH: A theory of goal-directed behavior,” from the scientific journal Psychological Research.
In 3 pages of single-spaced text, (not counting a title page that lists your name and the title of your paper; and 1-2 pages of references in APA style that you also are requested to add), please relate one aspect of the GOLIATH model to empirical research we have covered in class.
You can approach this paper in one of three ways:
(1) Highlight an empirical finding from the course that you think supports Hommel’s model.
(2) Highlight an empirical finding from the course that you think contradicts Hommel’s model.
(3) Highlight an empirical finding from the course that you think adds needed specificity to Hommel’s model. (If you select this option, please be sure to state why you think this further elucidation is important for understanding goal-related behavior, such that its omission from Hommel’s model is a notable limitation of that model).
You need to be specific about the empirical evidence (from a paper given below) that you see as supporting your conclusion. Then you need to finish you paper by stating any important implications of your analysis for theory and/or application.
No abstract is needed; page numbering and headers are optional. Apart from those considerations, please be sure that your paper conforms to APA style regarding its citations and references.
