Child and Youth Care Practitioners must be prepared to use evidence-based practice (EBP) research to inform programming and group work with children, youth and families. CYC’s must also integrate evidence and an understanding of current issues and trends into their professional development to both stay current and to contribute to the knowledge in our field related to children, youth and families. A combination of the research you gather from credible sources and the discussion board question and the feedback from your team will assist you to write the research paper. This assignment will increase your self awareness, your professional development and prepare you to both practice as a CYC and contribute to the development of our field.

Write a 4–5-page (excluding title & reference pages) research paper aimed at understanding the best practice related to your topic and its relationship to child and youth care practice
Spelling, grammar and writing style at the level of a third-year student is expected for this assignment.
