This is the guide for how the essay should be written based off the link in the topic
In this paragraph you should introduce the material you are reviewing. What is the title and who are the creators? What is the main message? Here is also where you should state your thesis and how you will support it. How is your essay organized? The end of your first paragraph should preview your body paragraphs.
In your first main body paragraph, discuss your relation to the documentary topic. Why did your choose to review it? How much did you know about the topic before watching? What did you learn after? How does it impact your thoughts and actions?
In your second main body paragraph, focus on the features of the documentary. What was it made up of? What was the main message of the documentary and what the creators use to convey that (interview with experts, personal stories, footage of media, statistics etc.) Why was the message created? What’s the context? What are the creators’ credentials (who are they)?
In your third main body paragraph, focus on the relevance of the work. When was this created? How has the subject matter changed? How does this work apply in 2022? Is there any perspective that you feel is missing? How might this work impact you and your community (friends, family etc.)?
Your final paragraph is for the conclusion. Re-state your thesis and support for your claim. Give overall impressions and wrap up final thoughts.
