Read the entire book. Focus on the “Forethought” and FOUR chapters. Explain what the chapters are about and how they are connected to the forethought. Find ONE academic secondary source that addresses either W.E.B. Dubois or the book itself (no book reviews). The library is your best bet for this. It is important that your paper be one cohesive essay, integrating all of the sections in the book. Do not just list the sections. The secondary article should be used to offer context to either Dubois’ life or the book itself.
