Recommend a Strategy
Prepare a 12–18 slide presentation to community stakeholders to recommend a strategy to address a community health need.
Continue with the problem and two potential solutions identified for your community health need. Determine the single best strategy to implement in your community. This assignment will continue to narrow the focus from a broad population need to specific, actionable tasks that community stakeholders must consider before creating an action plan. In your analysis, be sure to consider factors such as educational outreach, financial considerations, and information technology.
Preparation: Stakeholder Analysis
Before beginning work in PowerPoint, identify key audience members for your presentation based on the requirements of your chosen solution. This would include those who influence decisions for funding and implementation, as well as those who would take direct roles in implementation. Be sure to state the reasons for your decisions. Include this assessment in the notes section below your title slide so your instructor can grade it.

Recommended solution slides: Describe the solution you chose.
Provide supporting evidence to show that your solution is an evidence-based best practice.
Community Engagement Strategies slides:
Present strategies to mobilize community engagement:
Promotion strategy: How could social media and information technology be used?
Educational outreach strategies.
Implementation Strategies slides: Recommend, at a high level, factors that must be considered to successfully implement your strategy, including:
Defined SMART goals for implementation.
Ways audience members should collaborate to implement your strategy.
Estimated costs and potential sources for funding and other resources.
Conclusion slide: End with a succinct summary of the value and feasibility of your recommendations.
References slides: Cite all sources, following current edition APA style and format.
Additional Requirements
Written and visual communication: Should be free of errors that detract from the message.
