Recruitment – APA Formal Research Paper

You are to complete a formal research paper, which will be submitted in accordance with APA writing requirements of the 6th edition of the standard. The American Psychological Association (APA) style is widely accepted in the social sciences and other fields, such as education, and business. The APA citation format requires parenthetical citations within the text rather than endnotes or footnotes. If you have questions regarding this writing format style, you should contact the Writing Centers at each campus for help. Also, there are many online resources to help you with the general format and layout of the document as well as your parenthetical citations and your list of authoritative resources, which is known as the “References” list.
Choose a subject from any topical issue of arena in the textbook or a real-time HRM issue as long as it is related to strategic staffing and recruitment. Review the table of contents of your textbook to get some ideas for your choice of topics. Refer to the syllabus for detailed information for the content and arrangement of your paper. Comply with the specified page length and number of authoritative resources required.

Your MS Word document (.doc or .docx) will be a minimum of 15 pages of
actual content in APA format (i.e., double-spaced with one-inch margins all
around). Again, no other format is acceptable. Additionally, you will provide
the following in correct APA format:
Title Page
Abstract with Keywords (on same page)
Table of Contents (as appropriate)
Literature Review and the General Content of the paper. Ensure
that you have provided appropriate structural organization with
headings and subheadings to divide your content into logical sections
and subsections.
References (list at the end of your document. Ensure it starts on a
new page and not immediately after the end of the content).
Appendix or Appendices You may provide exhibits, figures, graphs,
and photos, and tables, but I would prefer that you put these at the
end of your document as an Appendix or Appendices. These go after
the References list. Do not attempt to insert into the general content
itself as these insertions into the written content may adversely affect
the overall pagination of the document.
You must perform scholarly research to complete this assignment. You MUST
have evidentiary support from the extant or published literature to develop
your formal topical paper. I strongly recommend at least three (03)
parenthetical citations per page and at least 20 or more authoritative
resources (including your textbook) as the minimum expectations for this
paper. Wikipedia is not an acceptable authoritative resource.
Again, you might want to make an appointment with the Writing Centers on
the various EFSC campuses for help with APA formatting, proper
parenthetical citations, and building your References list correctly.
