A human geographical perspective provides an important lens for understanding the world. Discuss this claim in an essay by: 1) reflecting on your (changing) understanding of human geography, drawing on key concepts, tools, and ideas from the course 2) using an example of a place that matters to you and how human geography can help you draw attention to important aspects of that place and its connections with other places.
A place that matters to you could be anywhere that has a particular meaning to you. This could be where you were born or where you grew up, a place you visited in the past, where you live or work or study, etc.
I will provide all my lecture powerpoints to you so you can draw on key concepts, tools, and ideas from the course.
