3. Answer the following questions:
o What are some of the major issues facing city leaders today? Give an example from your own city. What are the unique challenges of a global city? (Think about the definition of global city we discussed in week 1.)
o In our book, they discuss three elements of city leadership: actors, structures and institutions, and tools and instruments. Discuss how these elements impact city leaders in your city. Be specific.
o How do you feel about your city leadership? What type of leader are they, based on what we read in Chapter 2?
Write a short response answering the questions above. You may address each point individually or write in essay format. The total word count should be between 500-700 words (reference list does not count towards word total). You need to follow APA formatting guidelines and cite all relevant information (including in-text citations). This means you must properly give credit to sources within your writing by paraphrasing the source and using in-text citations. Proper grammar, spelling, and evidence of careful proofreading is required. You may enter text directly in the assignment page or upload a Microsoft Word document. The rubric is attached.
