Reflective summary

Students will read, analyze and critique an assigned academic journal article. Each summary should be roughly 1.5 to 2 pages (typed, single-spaced with font size 11 and margins 1-inch-wide on the top, bottom, left, and right) in length.
Students should identify the problem in question, its significance, and the paper’s findings. In short, they will summarize the article’s main points;
Students should identify the appropriate economic principles and/or theories and discuss (or describe) how they apply to the article’s main points.
Finally, students should briefly give their insights on the question.
TAs will use the following grading rubric for the article summary.
Summary of paper’s objectives and results, which consists of identifying the problem in question and its significance, and the findings of the article (5pts)
Description of the economics theory used in the paper, where you identify the appropriate economic principles and/or views and discuss (or describe) how they apply to the main points of the article (2pts)
Personal commentary on the paper’s results and /or conclusions (3pts). No need to use outside source, only use this article.
