You will be required to write a maximum of 1000 word paper on one topic of your choice covered so far in the course. Please complete all the required readings for the topic chosen, and then respond to the reflective questions presented below. You should also find and reference in APA 7th edition format a minimum of two peer-reviewed journal articles related to your reflection. These journal articles should illustrate learning or demonstrate that you’ve sought additional information outside of the text to enhance your learning.
Reflective Questions (which may be used as headings):
1) Describe the topic and its relevance to the field of human sexuality or your academic discipline.
2) What is your analysis of your learning on this topic?
(Questions you may wish to answer could include: What did you already know about the topic? How did you learn it? What didn’t you know about the topic, and why might you not have learned it? What was difficult or made sense about the topic? How did your thinking change? What else might you want to learn to expand your knowledge?)
3) How will you apply this learning in your academic, work, or personal life?
(Questions you may wish to answer could include: How did your individual experience differ from the experience of others, groups or organizations? How did this learning impact on your unconscious or conscious biases? How does this learning affect your perceptions of others, their experiences, in contrast to your own? What are the benefits and consequences of questioning/challenging the way we think about human sexuality? – This is not an exhaustive list, feel free to think of your own questions to answer in this section).
4) References (Minimum of two peer-reviewed journal articles).
Papers should be formatted in APA 7th Edition, including title page, headers, page numbers, and in-text citations, as well as the reference list.
