The Ethics of Corporate Responsibility
Read the New York Times article entitled:
Did Juul Lure Teenagers and Get ‘Customers for Life’? The e-cigarette company says it never sought teenage users, but the F.D.A. is investigating whether Juul intentionally marketed its devices to youth. Post a 250 word (minimum) discussion post that addresses the question: Is Juul Labs, the producer of Juuls, responsible for introducing their product to underage vapers, potential lifelong users of their product? Are they responsible to keep minors from being attracted to and using their products? Is this a big deal, ethically, and if so why? Be sure to use at least one quote from the article with which you either agree or disagree. Be sure that your argument has a clear conclusion.

Correct all spelling and grammatical errors.
Make sure you have broken your essay into logical paragraphs.
Underline the logical conclusion of your essay, i.e. that which the rest of your essay supports.
Provide a properly cited quote from the article (or video). “Quotations should be enclosed with quotation marks” and cited using the format detailed in the assignment, for example: John Smith said, “I like this class” (Smith, paragraph 4).
Save a copy of your work to your computer for back-up.
Copy and paste your written work into the Discussion Assignment in Canvas. Please do not upload your MS Word document file. Instead copy and paste from your word document into the discussion on Canvas. This saves me a couple steps in grading. Thank you.
